It wasn't really that great of a fight and most people saw a clear-cut winner. The only legacy this fight fulFILLS is Sulaiman's pockets. Or Canelo if he won legit. Bring on Charlo/Russian guy.

WBC siding with Cinnamon, a Mexican. WBC is based in Mexico. They are not even pretending to be impartial. The result of living in a narco democracy.
It is not their job to pressure one side of negotiations. Threatending he must face Charlo, when you know it's IBF's turn for mandatory is trying to influence negotiations. This is pathetic favourtism and sums up why we all hate these greedy motherf'ckers.
They will claim it's in the best intrests of boxing, whilst we all know it's in the best intrest of their sanctioning fees.

IBF do the wrong thing for the right reason (force crappy mandatories)

WBC do the right thing for the wrong reason (make rules up as they go - Stevenson example, whilst forcing Sor Rungvisai make immediate rematch with Choco)

                [QUOTE]
The split of 65-35 was part of the agreed upon terms for their date in May, but Golovkin feels he's entitled to a higher split - because Canelo's testing issues were the sole cause of their initial date falling apart.
True. Take Canelo to court. You can't expect him to give you a handout out of good will. That's crazy thinking.

"There's no way to understand why the fight is not signed. Everything is set for it to take place in September. I invite both camps to bury the hatchet and make the deal," Sulaiman said
                .

I said this the other day and people said I was wrong. The hold up is GGG suddenly wanting 50/50, which he isn't going to get.

"I think Gennady Golovkin should understand that he has the power to make the fight happen and show everyone in the ring, just who is the best. Everyone wants to see the rematch because their first fight was great. And the world deserves to see the second fight."
Maybe he knows he's slowing down and he'll lose the next fight so he wants more money to cash out. It's not about being the best to GGG. It's about a retirement check.

Canelo has the power too, yet not offering a fair split to your own Champion that most feel already won. If they were going by your own purse split rules then it would be more in favor of GGG. Telling him to just sign the fight is definitely a slap in the face to Golovkin who has done everything right by the WBC while Canelo has thrown his belt in the trash & wouldn't even fight for it last time.

Sulaiman was all quiet when Canelo didn't sign the first time, under those "Artificial Deadlines", all he had to say was "I am completely confident the fight is going to happen".
Like WTF? Still trying to stay in Canelo's good graces.

Sulaiman wants the fight, no matter who gets screwed, because he will get the same substantial licensing fee regardless of the split. What a ho.
