But you lose me when you say that Brooks has the smarts to outbox a bigger man , who in all reality will just overwhelm him with aggression and let’s not forget size no pun intended

Lara is twice as skilled as Brook and couldn't do shit to Hurd. Hurd is a huge, durable, tough guy. He'll break Brook's 3rd eye and retire him!

There's something shady about this WBA organization.
They could easily order/authorize a fight when they want to.
Andrade was available, but they'd rather approve the Gausha fight.
With the exception of Martirosyan, look at the long line of scrubs they let Lara defend his title with in a span of three years.
Ishe Smith, Rodriguez, Zaveck, Foreman, Gausha...
It's looking like the WBA head is friends with Decubas and Haymon.

Yeah, I understand Hurd would fight a soft touch after 2 back to back ward with Lara and Trout. But if he doesn't fight other top contenders immediately because of his own decision rather than barriers that barred him (Charlo refusing to fight, etc. etc.) I would respect.
