Well, as far as i can remember, floyd retired after hatton and the top guys in his WW division were mosley, Margarito, paul williams and cotto and floyd had not fought any of them!! He retired from a hot division and they would have been huge fights, he ducked those fight at that time + he ducked a hot pac when pac was beating the above fighters

Kessler beat many better fighters than Linares has most importantly he has a great win over Froch.

Linares has never beat anybody even B level.
Russell Jrs only notable win is an ancient Johnny Gonzales, Walters only notable win a shot Donaire (who hasn't beat him post Rigo?)

I won't even go into Froch his resume is better than all fours combined.

Russel, Rigo, Linares and Walters aren't retired yet.

Froch and Kessler went to grab most of their solid wins after the Ward fight.

I'm pretty sure Russel jr will make some solid stuff in boxing unless he loses it early, very underrated fighter.
Walters is back soon august, Linares will be, dunno about Rigo lol
