Linares is a very good fighter... as long as he has the opponent just in front of him... but Loma will not be there...

Amateurs can't "make weight" in the traditional sense because they can fight a few times a day, or one day after the next. Hence they need to be at their "tournament" weight as there is no chance to cut weight for a fight.

So in the AMs fighters always weigh more.

          Try again.

You know nothing about the amateurs, they fight same day they don't rehydrate extreme amounts. Loma looked small against his opponents in the amateurs also and his father made him move up because he already got gold in the weight class before and said it wouldn't be fair.

Russian documentary about Loma, i seen it a while back so i don't remember which video it was but it was on youtube talking about how he originally was suppose start at 118. His father also made him spar with one hand as a kid because he was that much better then the rest. Thats the same documentary which shown him being a fan and imitating Roy Jones.

Size matters a lot when you're a **** star. Outside of that, not so much. Heart and skill matter more in sports, and Loma will dismantle Linares.

Honestly you're a dumbass if you literally think that size makes no difference in fights. Have you guys watched no boxing at all?

Of course, the question is whether the height (and presumably reach) advantage is going to be enough to offset Lomachenko's speed and footwork. His timing needs to be good to make the most of it.
