Now, is he well within his right to change his mind and feel more confident than he was in 2014 and 2016? Of course

If he's gonna demand $6.7million to fight Jacobs, you better believe he will ask for much more against Gennady. And that type of money just doesn't exist. HBO doesn't have the budget for it. Warren's UK connections can't cough it up. PPV numbers can't justify it either. He's probably want $10m to fight Gennady. And Gennady's cut would obviously be more than Saunders' cut. There just isn't a $20m budget out there. It's unrealistic.

It was 3 years ago and kudos go to Saunders for being honest at the time. Still, in my opinion, there is at least some fear and doubt in Saunders mind. And I don't blame him for wanting a payday right now. I wonder if we'll ever see this fight. I hope so.
