    Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya is planning to keep Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) very busy in coming months. To avoid the scenario of having Canelo fight a single time in 2018, De La Hoya is planning to stage two events with the Mexican star. He was scheduled to face IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin on May 5th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

          GGG is fighting Canelo 110% Chance is happening. Charlo vs Jacobs better happen around the same time.

            What about the promise Oscar made a couple weeks ago. "Canelo is getting drug tested every day from now on to prove he is clean!"

            As of today Canelo is still not enrolled to any testing and Oscar is ignoring all questions about it.

                I remember De La Hoya saying Canelo would drug test every day from now until the fight, yet Canelo is STILL not enrolled in VADA's year round, enhanced drug testing program for boxers who are coming off a positive test. Both Luis Ortiz and Povetkin had to do it, WHY ISN'T CANELO?

                Boxingscene, you employ many journalists. DO YOUR JOB! THIS IS THE #1 STORY IN BOXING! He tested dirty, but he's STILL not in 365 enhanced VADA testing! In fact, he's not in 365 at all! Not that regular 365 would be enough anyway. DO YOUR JOBS and demand Canelo play by the same rules as Ortiz and Povetkin. Not just 365 VADA, 365 ENHANCED VADA is all that can make the GGG-Canelo rematch a legitimate, fair fight!
