GGG gets a pass on this one cause Canelo failed a drug test. It also wasn’t really his fault when he was ready to fight Eubank after Eubank called him out then lost his pen and GGG ended up fighting’s Brook, but he must fight Charlo , BJS or someone of that caliber next. I don’t think he needs Canelo.

Canelo is one tough guy to have taken Golovkin's punches but he also did make GGG miss a lot. Big difference when facing a high calibre opponent. But yes, Gennady hits harder than Charlo and the rest, but the styles of the likes of Canelo and Saunders are tricky for him to deal with.

Cong**** to GGG on beating a 154lb fighter on the shelf after several losses. Maybe next time the guy gets more than 2.5 weeks after a 2 year lay off. And yes we get it GGG his hard. Just not against anyone of worth in his weight division.

What makes GGG such a treat to watch is his power! You can tell how hard he hits, just by watching his opponents' faces! I thought Max Kellerman said something interesting (yet dumb at the same time) when he said that "GGG should fight all his fights with the same recklessness that he fought Vanes." When he fights that way, it is exciting, but to ask to him to fight that way, even when he fights top tier fighters, is ridiculous! Isn't the goal to win? Isn't winning enough anymore?

I agree with Kellerman and was thinking exactly the same. Then, I asked myself, "Does GGG know any other way of fighting?" The answer was "No." It had more to do with Canelo and Jacobs' styles. GGG was the same GGG.

Anyway, if he fights the way he did last night, I don't see many middleweights making it through 12 rounds.

The chatter seems to be more about Canelo than this fight. Golovkin does have power. No one denies that and it makes sense for a fighter to avoid that brunt of that power by moving his head and body and his feet. GGG and Abel Sanchez, and the GGG groupies don't like the opposing fighters to try and avoid his power. They want Canelo and everyone else to stay still so that GGG is assured of a knockout. They think Mexicans are supposed to be ****** and let Golovkin hit them at will.

Canelo showed GGG too much respect. He had great success when he took it to Golovkin, there is a reason GGG did not keep Canelo on the ropes. He was getting hammered with counters. It pains me to think that Canelo and GB will give these miscreants another payday, but if they do fight, I don't want to hear GGG and Sanchez say GGG is the "real" Mexican. That is disrespectful to the sport and to the Mexican people.
