Comments Thread For: Vanes Warns GGG: I'm Stronger at 160; Not Killing Myself Making It

Vanes Martirosyan mostly has competed at or just above the junior middleweight limit of 154 pounds since he turned pro in April 2005. Like the vast majority of boxers, the 5-feet-11 Martirosyan often has had to struggle to make weight. These past two weeks have been completely different for the longtime 154-pound contender, however, because those six extra pounds have made that typically grueling process much easier for him.

Most everyone thinks so but it is not exactly true & 1 thing he definitely will lose punching power vs a larger man...

I agree. In that face off video, Vanes looked like he just crawled out of a hole, with his tats and all.

I wonder what the comments were like when Saddam Ali went UP against Cotto.

                Boxing is a strange business.

Anyway you slice it , no matter what the outcome this is a now win situation for GGG.

Why is he pissed? Golovkin called off the fight pressuring commissions and everybody’s mama to do something because of “pills, *********s, needle marks, gloves...”.

Lil’G knows how to not want a fight
