The fight is one of the most anticipated of the year and will air on ESPN from the Madison Square Garden in New York.

                Linares knows that he will lose but he is thankful for a career record payday of 1 Mio $. He never even earned half the money in a fight.

                    He's been with Golden Boy and Oscar since 2009. Oscar claims to make stars but hasn't done anything for Linares even thought he's been a top fighter. He receives no promotion for GB and it shows when his fights at the Forum have less than 2k fans. He has to travel to the UK to get paid more than what Oscar pays him. Even with the fight next week, GB isn't even promoting or hyping up the Linares fight. All of their social media outlets don't even mention Linares. But yet Oscar says he can promote and make anyone a star.
