You missed the far and away top choice:

    Somsak Sithchatchawal vs Mahyar Monshipour

Best fight of the year by a mile.

Calzaghe-Lacy for me. Though Lamon Brewster vs. Serguei Liakahovic was a close second.

Calzaghe Lacy is as much a FoY candidate as is Hopkins Tarver.

Watching one fighter take another fighter apart in a one sided fashion isn't much of a 'fight'.

As a display of the science, it gets my vote. As a competitive match-up, then clearly it achieves little.

"Fight of the year" is always a show case of a blood and guts battle of wills.

Castillo Corrales was last year's FotY, and the Gatti Ward fights were before that.

I don't even think you could classify Calzaghe Lacy as a fight.

That fight got to the point where it was humbling to watch. Both guys were hurt badly and fought through it round after round back and forth.

Unfortunately, it was also the type that could finish a fighter with the beatings they inflicted on each other.

It's a fair point but I'm not answering the poll as if I'm judging it as a Ring journalist... the question is more informal than that, it asks for "YOUR fight of the year". The fight that meant the most to you/entertained you the most. It's an informal question on a boxing forum, so my pick stands within that context.
