Comments Thread For: Heavyweight Prospect To Get 7 Years in Jail For Armed Robbery

According to 9 News, heavyweight prospect Craig Vitale (6-0, 3 KOs) will spend at least seven years behind bars over a 2011 armed hold-up of a Melbourne bottle shop he committed with his brother. The two brothers entered the Kingsville store pointing a double barrel ******* at a female attendant before firing at the cash register and fleeing with money and alcohol.

Robbery happened 7 years ago so according to boxing rules he should be a free man at this point.

I saw the headline and my first thought was my brother Deontay couldn’t hang around waiting to be paid.

Get rid of Shirley and you will be free. His ego is getting in the way of the fight . Regardless of your feelings towards Eddie Winkel’s petulance is giving them a understandable escape route in making the fight.Wilder fans will say Team Joshua is scared. They may well be but don’t let E.T head take the satisfaction of corroborating your su****ions.

Eddie you are not innocent either but I will wait for you Wilderlites to point that out

Damn how bout that. Try to get into boxing to turn your life around & some sh^t from 2yrs before that finally comes to light & puts you away for 7 years.

Kinda low down his brother didn't try to cover for him better or something. Probably screwed either way, but sh^t give the guy some chance to get out of it if y'all cool.

Hardly a prospect with 3 decisions in 6 wins. That might work for a feather fisted welterweight but it ain't gonna get you far at heavyweight. And hasn't fought since 2014. Yeah he's no prospect

              Meh.

You do the crime you deserve to do the time. Actions have consequences, past misdeeds don't simply go away just because time has passed.

Biggest heavyweight robbery that was criminal this year was AJ stealing money of unsuspected fanboys
