    Hatton-Chico at 140: Who Wins?

Who wins, how, and why? I still think this fight can happened in the next one. You know Chico would do it, so all Hatton has to do is step up to the plate.

He said the whole time that he wanted the winner of Chico-Castillo but I guess all that was talk and he really just meant that he only wanted Castillo because he hasnt mentioned Chico's name since then.

He wanted Castillo because he fights just like Hatton but Ricky new that he would be bigger, stronger, and faster then Castillo at 140. He doesnt want Chico because he has a difficult style and he knows that if he runs in on Chico with his chin 1st and hands down like he always does then he could get hurt.

He named all these fighters and he talked about how good he would still be at 140 but yet he's going to fight Urkal at 147? Either fight one of the guys you named, give Callazo the rematch, or move back down and fight Chico. Its pretty simple to me and no one is easier to make a fight with then Chico, and he would even go to England to fight him

Good post, Diego "Chico" Corrales exposes Ricky Hatton for the C level fighter he really is via a 10th round TKO.

hatton looked bad againts a boxer. corrales is not really a boxer he is more of a puncher. if corrales tries to trade i think his chin would not hold up for more than 8 rounds.

I think if they trade then Hatton is the one that wont hold up. Chico can box. He's a boxer puncher. He has quick hands and can punch from long range and inside, unlike most tall guys. I think he stops Hatton and it might be early. Hatton still comes in chin 1st and he's easy to counter, just like Magee & Callazo did

not in same class, hatton i think befuddles corrales with his foot movement and jab. i like corrales, he's a great warrior, but he's out of his depth here if hatton decides to box, or even if hatton decides to **** with him he manhandles chico anyway because i dont think chico would be the biggest of jr.welters.

i see it as a second castillo corrales. castillo has the best chin of the 3.
corrales has a great chance is he can cut hatton early. if hatton can get passed corrales reach and get inside and use his "tactics" witch arnt the cleanest i think it will get corrales mad and hot headed

That wont work against Chico because like I said, he's not like most big guys. There is no big guy that I can even remember who can throw short punches like Chico. All big guys need distance to land bombs but he can turn on his punches so well and is very powerful with his shor shots. Thats why I dont think he would care if Hatton tried to get inside or even tried to rough him up because he would still be in range for those short hooks & uppercuts

Not in same clas? Come on dude, you think Hatton is God. Chico has beaten Freitas, Castillo, a prime Casamayor, Gainer, Manfredy, and so many guys and you are going to say that Hatton is in a different class? Joke

this is a bit of topic but ill try to make it relative to this thread.

how do you think corrales will come into a fight like this after 2 life shortning fights againts a fighter who is similar to hatton?
you think hatton might have a mental advantage?
