    The point of hair testing is to find a long term history of drug use, and to see whether or not he took things outside of the meat contamination claim.

    We know that whether he got Clen through meat or PED, he had it in his system. It's a fact. His hair sample can not be negative. That's how logic works. So either he took the test too late after the fact for it to prove anything, or it was not his.

    I will reiterate. A hair test could NOT be negative unless it was useless. This is useless and bogus.

      For the record, I still think the suspension was appropriate because he did fail the test. If someone fails, there needs to be a penalty regardless or cheaters will slip through.
      I agree. Everyone is responsible for what they take

        From the article;
        " The Nevada commission collected hair samples from Alvarez on March 29 and they were tested at the Sports Medicine Research & Testing Laboratory, a WADA-accredited lab in Salt Lake City, Utah, Bob Bennett, the commission executive director, told ESPN.

        The results document, which was provided to ESPN, was returned on April 20 with a single note in the section reserved for analysis details: "Hair sample tested for clenbuterol. Clenbuterol was not detected."

        The negative hair follicle test is notable because while clenbuterol is detectable in urine for less than a week after it is ingested, the drug can be detected in hair for several months."
        They also say this further down in the article. I don't think any real conclusion should be taken from this hair test myself. I've heard this is hit or miss by too many cats.

        "We initiated the test to be as comprehensive as possible but knowing it's very difficult, according to the experts," Bennett said. "It's a difficult process to be able to confirm whether there is clenbuterol in the hair follicles, but I talked to (SMRTL president and laboratory director) Dr. (Michael) Eichner and he said they'd run the test even though it is even more difficult to run on light-colored hair. But we sent them the samples and the tests came back negative."

            Drugs remain in your hair the longest man, it would not be gone in a month

                Incorrect. Trace samples, such as one would expect from tainted meat, may not show up. But, usage in a PED context will. That is why they have the test.

                  you realize this lack of logic makes no sense right? it was in his system on feb 17th so why wouldn't it still be there? are you saying it wasn't taken at all? makes zero sense. this test is unreliable just like the article says. its all for show.
