    NEW YORK Jermall Charlo's win Saturday night solidified him as the mandatory challenger for Gennady Golovkin's WBC middleweight title. Charlo completely understands, of course, that doesn't necessarily mean he'll ever actually get the opportunity of fight Golovkin. As much as the undefeated Charlo wants that fight, Golovkin seemingly is headed toward a rescheduled rematch against Canelo Alvarez.

    “And I wanna get the chance to fight one of the best Hall-of-Famers that ever did it. A lot of people around the world wanna see it, too. I mean, the dude is amazing, so I wanna get in there with him and test my talents, too.”

    How could anybody have a problem with this remark? Good stuff here.

    The kid came off very humble and excited after the fight. Don't think I've ever seen him that way.

      yeah, watched that interview yesterday. Was refreshing to see.

            lets see how he does vs jacobs, alvarez, BJS,andrade, Derevyanchenko or even murray and lemieux face it this wannabee has never faced an elite level fighter at 160 in fact he fought a cripple and a mismatch thats it but he wants to walk right into a title shot

                  Would love to see Charlo in there with Golovkin. Can't blame Charlo for wanting the fight. After all win, lose or draw its all about the dollar in boxing. Fans would like to see it and it would be a big payday for him.
