That is a good step up fight for Joyce. Fair play to Hayemaker Ringstar for getting that fight signed and sealed. I honestly feel Joyce will be ready to fight for World honours before his 10th fight at this rate.

Solid fight, I imagine Lenroy will provide a few problems for Joyce early on, but Joyce should prove too much for him and will grind out the stoppage.

Joe Joyce will fight for his first title on Tony Bellew’s undercard next month. Bellew takes on David Haye in a heavyweight grudge rematch on May 5, exclusively live on Sky Sports. And the Olympic silver medallist, 33, who is promoted by Haye, has been confirmed as one of the fighters on the undercard of the O2 Arena showpiece. Joyce has raced to 3-0 since turning professional last October and will challenge Jamaica’s Lenroy Thomas for the Commonwealth heavyweight title on the card.
