Floyd got a slim “punchers chance” but is likely to get taken down and lose on the ground. Floyd can train for a ground game and adjust his stance to try to avoid getting taken down, but there’s only so much he can learn in a short amount of time. Guys would go straight for his legs or kick his legs to lower his mobility and then take him down. Floyd’s whole muscle memory and training for 30+ years is that of a boxer. It would be kind of cool to see him go into the octagon and beat a champion, but I doubt it happens

As I’ve said many times over, he won’t fight under mormal MMA rules. Put yourself in his shoes, he’s worth $500m, what sane person that rich gets locked in cage and assaulted by almost any means when they don’t have to...nobody, including Mayweather.

It’ll happen, but it’ll be more like WWE than combat and my money’s on a dodgy draw and Floyd off in the sunset on his yacht whilst every complains about the circus they just witnessed.

I dont think Floyd will get away with changing the rules. People are going to call him a coward. Floyd has made it clear that he wants to fight in th UFC and is training with Woodley to learn more about grappling, kicks..etc. MMA fighters will of course voice their opinion. If Floyd is serious about MMA he'll get beat up pretty bad. Somebody like Conor would beat the crap out of Floyd with MMA rules.

Why give all the people that always wanted to see him lose what they want? Floyd should just stay retire and enjoy the fact that nobody was able to beat him.

In a boxing match... that went 9 rounds, and where Conor won 3-4 and looked competitive.

It went 10 rounds not 9. Floyd bet on himself at something like +1700 on a round prop. Oscar called him on it and even said the amount which allegedly was 400k, others too for wagering on himself. Floyd himself said he carried McGregor.

14 and 15 year olds won’t beat him. I boxed for 5 years as an amateur when I took Karate and once I learned how to check kicks I was a White Belt beating up red belts black belts who were 17 year old teens when I was 25. The funny thing is the instructor would not put me in there to spar his 2 adult black belts he knew I would embarrass them as a White belt beating up black belts he couldn’t have it. Once you learn their kicks it’s easy to side step them. People ask how can I see kicks coming I told them a punch comes at a much faster speed

ive done sparred dudes and even did my testing vs a bjj dude and once I had top position he couldn't do anything, mind you he had ranked in bjj and I wasn't even a white belt in bjj

This is little girl talk. MMA fighters sound like straight p*ssys when they **** like this. Floyd ESPECIALLY would be a problem for these largely by comparison uncoordinated, unathletic MMA goons. Even at 41 he's three times faster than these guys with his fist step.
