Joe Sayatovich, Terry Norris'd former manager was in Don King's pocket. He and King robbed Norris blind. I would not be surprised if Koncz and Arum have a similar arrangement/deal going on between them in order to keep Manny indebted to Top Rank.

Roach was always on Pacquiao's side regardless of what the naysayers were saying. He had extreme loyalty at some point but that's seemed to diminish. Instead of backing Pacquiao in saying that his contract with Top Rank is done, he's actually arguing that he still has contractual obligations with the company. I don't know what happened but if Pac and Roach were as close as they were made out to be, this split and the nature of it is pretty shocking.

This on Manny and Manny alone. He thinks he is a super freaking human. Acting, Senate, community outreach, global ambassador to the Philippines. His downfall started when he thought he could do all that and train in the Philippines full time. His concentration has not been on boxing for a very very long time.

Roach has always had this issue with Manny ever since the whole Ariza issues. Roach wanted Manny to focus on training, while Ariza the other slime ball Konch Konzch or what ever his name is wanted him focused on other things.

Manny is going to get KOed bad this next fight, and its going to be sad.

When manny said he had dreams of losing to Mayweather, Roach should've woke him up, when manny got that hooker pregnant, Roach should've been there to put the rubber on. When manny didnt pay taxes, roach should've been there for him and paid it, when manny was afraid of needles Roach shouldve "coached him up"
          poor manny

Finally got rid of the roach. Good move. Roach was never a great trainer, manny carried him along the way for a long time.

A blast from the past, from Franklin Gacal (Manny's former lawyer):

              January 6, 2014:

Rappler: You are lawyers. Obviously you and Bob know how to do it.

Gacal: The current contract (between Top Rank and Pacquiao) was never shown to me. It was Mike Koncz. Mike hid it from me. He did not show the contract to me. He did not inform me. Mike, you know that it is for the best interest of Manny that no contract should be signed for the moment because apparently that is what Floyd wants or his condition...

Rappler: Have you read about Manny’s tax issues? What advice can you give Manny?

Gacal: Well, it appears there is really a problem. The IRS is claiming there is a tax deficiency. If there were some mistakes, it was Mike’s fault. Why did it happen? They were supposed to have hired accountants. At the end of the year, after the filing of the tax returns, all problems should have been solved. If the US still has claims, there should be problems with recording and everything. So this is the point man’s fault and that is Mike...

Gacal: Mike looks up to Bob Arum when Pacquiao is done with boxing. When Pacquiao is done, who is he? So he has to maintain his good relations with Bob Arum...

Rappler: Why won’t Manny drop Mike?

Gacal: Manny is a good man. If you show him loyalty and you really work for him, you will be rewarded. Steal from him 10 times and asked for forgiveness once, he will forgive you 11 times.

Now more than ever Pac needs a real coach....not some pal or yes man. He has surrounded himself with yes men. He got rid of his real trainer/coach. Not looking good. He's probably got enough to take care of Matthysse....but beyond that? He may not have liked Roach telling him the truth, but that doesn't change the truth.

What are you talking about? Ariza was the very first person to call Manny out for blowing off his training regiment and not being dedicated to boxing once he became a superstar.
