That was a great fight. Hurd looks big as hell for 154 that was very fun. Honestly Lara Impressed me more now maybe a step slower than he has ever before his heart and balls carried him through those last few rounds and when they asked him after the fight if he wanted a rematch he said 100% without hesitating. A lot of guys would have hesitated a lot after that damn fight and come up with some b/s answer. Hurd looked like a bigger Angulo in there.

Although I hate to see Lara run and was rooting against him. He didn't run. He held his ground. Going into the 12th Hurd was trailing on all three scorecards but he floored Lara with a crushing left hook in the waning seconds of the fight tp give him the winning margin of 114-113 on two scorecards. The third judge had the fight 114-113 for Lara.

Fight of the year candidate 4 sure!

I kind of agree with you. Truax hurt DeGale pretty clearly in one of the middle rounds. They both looked horrible but I don't think Degale deserved the win.

Hurd straight up snatched the title away in the 12th round. You could have had either fighter up a point heading into round 12 but the knockdown sealed the deal for Hurd. He is just so hungry. What a mouth watering showdown with Jermell if thats what comes off for Hurd next. Lets see who the best is!!!!
