For many months now there's been talk of AJ and Wilder's eventual meeting and the prospects of an undisputed heavyweight champion.
Throughout this period there's been a steady supply of commentary from each side around the possible structure of a deal. From Wilder's side there was the 50/50 or no fight interview, which drew a derisory retort from Eddie Hearn. And so on, and so on for months and months.
My question is, how much of this is real and how much for show? Are these really two opposing camps or two participants in a show designed to build controversy and ultimately the takings in a series of mega fights which are in both parties interests?
