Whyte is getting moved along quite nicely at the minute I feel.

Hearn's building up Whyte nicely, hes a headliner of his own cards now. Haha but you Americans have some kind of deep hatred for him. At least he'll keep quiet about Whyte/Wilder for 5 minutes.
And Povetkin is a dummy if he gots a mandatory position that the WBA is saying he's got next on & is still fighting Whyte next. Whyte got the benefit of the doubt vs Del Boy (I thought he lost that fight) so Povetkin is gonna need to KO this cat to insure he gets a fair decision.
Unless Povetkin left those World of Boxing guys I bet they end up turning down that fight for some sorta reason cuz it makes zero sense for him when he's got a golden ticket for Joshua. They probably b^tched him out after the fight if he agreed to it during the post fight interview (I didn't see that whole thing).

If so, it's tough/risky fight for both guys to take in the mean time.
I like it though, good fight IMO.
And Whyte is the #1 contender for the WBC belt Wilder holds, but he's not been mandated as the mandatory yet. Since Wilder fought a mandatory in November its unlikely they'd elevate Whyte to mandatory status any time soon. I'm guessing the earliest that'd happen is late this year if not sometime in 2019.

Povetkin is represented by Andriy Ryabinsky, AJ vs Povetkin goes to purses and Hearn loses, fight goes to Russia or AJ is stripped.
Plus as you mention they can outbid Hearn & get that fight happening in Russia where Povetkin can be nuked up on PED's lol.
Yea I don't see no Povetkin vs Whyte happening unless he's not with the World of Boxing promotion anymore. I heard Ryabinsky took more of a bad seat than he previously had so maybe that changed things there too idk, but Povetkin has bad management if he fights anyone but Joshua next unless something is wrong about what the WBA Guy said. And its not like these ABC Groups don't bend with the tides or their angles they can use so who knows.

This is merely another Hearn tactic to keep anyone dangerous away from Joshua as long as possible; just feed Whyte to them eg Wilder, Povetkin.
