Comments Thread For: How Postponing Rematch Could Actually Work In Canelo's Favor

By Andreas Hale - I know it sounds strange, but if the Canelo-GGG rematch is canceled after Canelo tested positive for a banned substance, it could actually work in his favor. Follow me here for a minute because, obviously, Canelo's character is going to wear a black eye if and when the Nevada State Athletic Commission decides to suspend him for failing a pair of drug tests after the banned substance Clenbuterol was found in his system. No matter how many ways you slice it, Canelo is at fault and nobody should feel particularly sorry for him...

      ****** article

Basically it’s good that Canelo will get suspended so he can age Gennady even more and get him further away from his Prime

Gennady style isn’t like Bernard’s and he’s already aging

Canelos team already waited 2 years before they agreed to fight and it didn’t work so let’s do it again and get a more level playing field.

      Anyone co-signing this is a f.ucking ******

Obviously the plan behind the scenes is for things to work out in Canelo's favor. If it wasn't, he never would have tested positive in the first place. Big money makers in boxing don't have things go against them, EVER, not lately. This is the closest there has been to something SEEMING to go against one, but if you've followed boxing long enough, you know there must be a plan in place behind the scenes for why this is happening, and in the next year to 18 months it will be used to screw over GGG and position Canelo as the new face of boxing. That's how they seem to operate.

Pieza of caca article! There are other bums for Chenelo to fight to prove once again he’s the face of boxing now: O’sullivan, John Vera, Margarito, Manny, One of the Smith brothers and so on. There is no reason for her to fight people that don’t bring anything to the table such as Jacobs, Charlo, Dever.

If the rematch doesn’t happen in may I hope doesn’t happen at all... I hope he fights derevyenchenko(may) unifies with Saunders(sept) then either 1 defence against charlo(if he’s still undefeated, or Jacobs if the Jacobs charlo fight comes off and he wins, early 2019) or retires

Yup. Again. No desire to see this fight a year later. If he’s labeled a cheat and lost in 80% eyes, I don’t want to see it. A year is a LONG time in a 35 year old boxer’s life. Not to mention any decision hereafter will be shrouded in an ugly PED cloud. First fight was good enough. Don’t need a little Byrdie telling lies again.

What a crap article and gave up reading that waffle......canelo is also not going to get the benifits of clenbuterol so will be a lot softer body wise and the little ginger fatty will once again appear to the boxing world.
obviously canelo knew he couldn't beat golovkin without the help of peds in his system and even then he lost lo him so what chance does the mexican have with a clean system.
Getting suspended for peds will have a huge impact on his popularity and i feel he won't ever recover from it and it will hang over him like a bad spirit........Fu ckin cheat
