Believe it or not they are actually moving garcia up the problem is he is facing the same level opponents other older prospects are fighting he's just destroying them faster and easier. So it looks like he isnt moving up with opponents.

For example vargas who he just fought went the distance with Christopher Diaz another top prospect who has more fights and experience and that was a fight where one judge had Diaz winning by just 1 round. Garcia just iced that same dude. Vargas has faced many good fighters and almost always goes deep in fights most of his losses were via decision. He shows up to fight and gives fighters work...except when he faced garcia. Garcia is special he might not have a tough fight until he faces top 10 ranked fighters. And he's going to look bigger then anyone he faces until he moves up to welterweight lol. So do you rush him now to face those guys or move him along like a 19 year old and he keeps icing guys out early.

I would just move him fast especially at 130 he looks huge height and body wise. Ryan himself was talking about possibly facing Berchelt this year if im not mistaken.

19 yr old, 5'10", 130lbs.

He should start fighting 140lb fighters because he'll be at that weight next year. If he gets accustomed to 130lb tomato cans, he'll be in a big surprise once he faces opponent of the same size.

He's being groomed to win titles from 130 to 147 maybe even as high as 154. He's going to look bigger then everyone he faces for a very long time. If he pans out he could win titles in 4 or weight classes with that frame. He's making weight easy why move to 140 now? He's only 19 and can grab belts at 130 and 135 first. With his build he might not fight someone his own size for another 5 years.

He's ****y and calling out tank and I have no doubt he thinks he could win now. But as a promoter it would be foolish to go from guys like vargas to world Champs like tank and berchlet for a 19 year old. He's only got a year and half pro experience against full men with 5x-7x more. Maybe he beats those guys now but if he loses everyone would be killing golden boy for rushing and damaging a future star. Again Christopher Diaz a top prospect in his own right was older with more experience when he fought vargas who he struggle with. If I were golden boy it's clear he's got talent and skills to face much better opponents now but there is still something to be said for gaining experience. But hes winning too easy for his own good lol Most guys his age are waiting 4 years or more before they face a top contender. Let alone a top world champ like Berchelt. No shot golden boy makes that fight this year. Tank is 23 and mayweather still ain't putting him in with any of the other top guys and title holders. They have already been moving his fast but too fast you kill the golden goose too slow he doesn't learn much from these slaughters. It's not a easy line to juggle will be interesting to see how golden boy handles it.

FYI, Pac at 19 is 5'7", 112 champ. Lost the belt at the scales and KOed in the fight. He jumped straight to 122lbs. Kids can have a growth spurt.

He's 19 them young boys stay in camp and in shape. Until we hear stories of his struggling with weight no reason to move up. And yeah I think he is legit fast, powerful and very skilled. The guy he faced is a rugged fighter who has been in with a lot of good fighters and nobody has iced him in 1 round like this.
