When Fury said he wanted a 60-40 split in his favor everybody recognized it as a negotiating tool and he'd work his way down from there & knew he wouldn't get 60%. When Wilder said 50% nobody looked at it as a negotiating tool & said he priced himself out.

You know I'm a huge Canelo fan but Canelo was the B side in that fight.
Canelo even admitted in "golpe a golpe" a Mexican sports talk show, that he was the B side in that fight vs Cotto and that's why he took less money than Cotto.
