If this is true, it's a huge disappointment. Braehmer vs. Smith would've been a good scrap. It would've been the first real test for Smith.

    Hopefully it's not true.

Things took an unexpected turn in the World Boxing Super Series super middleweight tournament, as krikya360.com has received confirmation that Juergen Braehmer (49-3, 35 KOs) has withdrawn from Saturday's semi-final bout with Callum Smith (23-0, 17 KOs). The withdrawal was first reported by boxen1.com in Germany.

        Lol.

Would be funny doe if by some miracle Eubank still wins the tournament. I don’t know how, but anything is possible. I mean Dominic Wade who was on house arrest and deprived training is the equivalent of a measles cold...

          Hahaha.. Good post.
I'd love a miracle for Chris! Literally.

Let's be real, Eubank would not be allowed to step in the ring 1 week after a fight. This is 2018.

And he got a bad cut, fought 12 hard rounds, that's never gonna happen. I'm hoping for Holzken, Chudinov is really bad.

Do they call up Rob Brant? Will he be ready?

Disappointing news. This was a fight I was really looking forward to.

Not this fight, the finals. Grove broke his arm in 96 places when his glove bumped into Eubank’s shoe laces when both were swinging frantically

It wouldn't take a flat-earther to suggest Braehmer was asked to withdraw by the Sauerlands - they make far more money with a Groves-Smith fight than a Groves-Braehmer.

Not sayint it happened but I was picking Braehmer to beat Smith.

The SMW tourney is a disappointment. If Groves can't be ready for the final, and Braehmer can't compete in the semi, then the outcome will be anti-climatic.

I'd rather Groves go for a unification for another title than fight either Smith or Braehmer.

Ramirez has asked for unification, so i'd like to see that.

Wow Braehmer really is a flimsy piece of s**t
