Comments Thread For: Callum Smith To Fight New Opponent, Braehmer Withdraws

Would be funny doe if by some miracle Eubank still wins the tournament. I don’t know how, but anything is possible. I mean Dominic Wade who was on house arrest and deprived training is the equivalent of a measles cold...

Hahaha.. Good post.
I'd love a miracle for Chris! Literally.
It wouldn't take a flat-earther to suggest Braehmer was asked to withdraw by the Sauerlands - they make far more money with a Groves-Smith fight than a Groves-Braehmer.
Not sayint it happened but I was picking Braehmer to beat Smith.
The SMW tourney is a disappointment. If Groves can't be ready for the final, and Braehmer can't compete in the semi, then the outcome will be anti-climatic.
I'd rather Groves go for a unification for another title than fight either Smith or Braehmer.
Ramirez has asked for unification, so i'd like to see that.
