Old or not, it's a great opportunity for Loma - financially and just to put a great scalp on his resume. The problem is, it's not a sure win and Egis knows it. Pac is still solid, and that's a different kind of challenge at 140. I like the fight honestly; it's a spectacle and there's also a bit of the unknown there - makes for an event worth anticipating.

The reason the Crawford fight doesn't have as much appeal is bc we all believe Crawford is too much for Pac today. Loma? idk....I'm not as convinced when you account for their size, but I might yet lean towards Loma.

But he probably shouldn't take it. If he loses to a 39 year old Pac, it might be by knockout and it'll be hard to regain his appeal after that. Worst case scenario...how worth it is it really?

Klimas is right in a way because Loma got a lot of hate for bringing Rigo up 2 weight classes. He wants to fight champions in their division, Berchelt recently said hes considering unifying with Loma. I think the Bobfather can make that fight happen. Although Bob Arum has a lot of pull with the Wbo and could probably have Pacquiao and Loma fight for the vacant belt at 140 and they could do a catchweight at 138. That would be a great fight but I guess Loma wants to only fight current champions from now on.
I have no interest in it to me it will prove nothing except Pac too old or Loma too small.Suspect it would be the former. And watching Pac beat up an old weight drained fighter did nothing for me.But count me in for Berchelt vs Loma I think its a easy win for Loma but MB is one of the top 130pders so it means more to me.

Pac will Salido Lomachenko at 140, At 135, Pac will be beaten like a *****. Loma wont ever take an actual risk, continue to fight fighters with huge advantages either in age, activity time, or recent losses.

exactly my point, pac is still solid and is a real test for anybody at 140. I have pac beating garcia at 140 easily. problem with loma is that he wants all the credit but wont ever take a risk. pac probably wont ko him, due to loma being the type of fighter who moves and pac isnt the same pac he was 8 years ago.i still believe pac can win a decision just based on the fact when loma gets in deep waters he shuts down like the salido fight and the fact that this is his first live body.

I think Pacquiao can knockout Loma at 140!

He had Jeff Horn who was out on his feet and any other ref would've stopped that thrashing in the 9th, mind you Horn is a heavy welter who fought at 154 before!

This was an unmotivated Pacman, who overlooked Horn and still should've gotten the win but got robbed!

If he fights Loma, it would motivate Pacquiao and Arum could set it up for the 140 WBO belt!

Pacquiao vs Lomachenko, make it happen BobFather, *** what Egis and Loma's pops is saying!

                Money talks!

You mean there's no gain in LOSING to Pacquiao. Cause that's what will happen.

He could go down to 140 and he would be fighting people his size. With tht being said im a big Manny fan but I am not desperate for Manny to win at all. I would like to see Manny fight Loma at a 138 catch weight abd I think Loma beats him. I also would like to see him fight Crawford in the fall and retire with a **** even though Crawford will likely whoop him
if pac comes into fights at 150 he is bigger than dudes at 147. I think we are on the same page. I wont have a problem if pac fights loma at 135. even though roach has thrown crawfords name out so much, I never thought they ever had intentions of fighting Crawford. if pac went down to 140 he would just rehydrate to 150 easy. that's why I have a problem with this fight

every time pac takes a L people say he over looked his opponent or he was unmotivated. well that's his fought. spence always says you can never look past the next fighter. how is it the refs fought he didn't stop the fight when you thought he should have. if the beating was so bad, why didn't it continue? I thought JMM beat pac in the second and 3rd fight but the record says pac won. so hey it happens. pac should be fighting at 147 and if he wants to drop down to 140 he should have to be 140 on fight night and not allowed to rehydrate to 150lbs.
