Comments Thread For: Khan Still Wants Pacquiao: I'd Love That, It Would Be Amazing

British superstar Amir Khan (31-4, 19 KOs) is still hoping to get in the ring with his former sparring partner, eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao (59-7-2, 38 KOs). The former champion will end a near two year hiatus from the sport with a bout in Liverpool on April 21 against an unnamed opponent.

Manny needs to retire he was beaten by a very poor Jeff Horn who currently everyone wants to get their hands on for a easy title win.

Unfortunately this is all you will get from Khan .He talks about fighting Keith Thurman who is out and then tied up for a good while and would certainly knock out Khan given the chance . It will be interesting to see how stiff his three fight deal will be as any decent fighters in there will derail any plans Eddie might have.

Khan says, as he said five years ago (and didn't) he is going to clear up the welterweight division .I would be surprised if he even finishers his three fight deal.

Khan's very last fight two years ago left him iced and unconscious on the floor for a worryingly long time.

You are only as good as your last fight and that being true I simply can't understand what ANY of the fuss is about.

Pacquiao puts him to sleep ever at this stage of his career. Khan's chin.

Khan probably won’t face a threat in this three fight deal until the last one at best. There is no way Hearn will risk this little plan/deal being backfired the second Khan is iced by anyone with half a chance to do so. They’ll have the first fight as a tune up and face someone he is supposed to beat. The second fight they’ll make noise but settle for someone similar and hide behind the good old ‘nobody wanted it’ spin. The third will be a decent match.

In terms of Pacquiao, he just needs to retire, and Khan needs to stop begging for a purse and limelight. He’s a moron. Probably thinks fighting Manny now means the same as if he did five years ago.

He is the dog that sits under the dinner table staring up wishing something would fall to him.

The Pac Man of Morales II and III would make short work of EVERY WW out there today. Every one.

Yes - and while they fight, Anthony Joshua ****s the wives of both.

I wish both khan and pac would just go away. They're useless at this point to the sport of boxing. Pac is washed up and khan hasn't done anything relevant in about 7 years.

Anyway, I think Khan beats Manny at this point anyway. They really should fight, it'd be good for Khan to finally get a good win.

the only beatable "name" opponent out there for khan is broner. his 3 fight deal should be a broner trilogy. anybody with decent power will ice him.
