Where does the myth arise from that Vasyl Lomachenko has been a weight bully?

The only two factors that matter to determine the weight advantage a boxer has over his opponents is to check the official weigh in to ensure the boxer makes the appropriate weight and the fight night weigh in to check how much weight advantage a boxer has over his opponents during the bout itself.

Firstly, Lomachenko has managed to make the official weight for every one of his bouts.

Secondly, these are his fight night weight against different opponents during his actual bouts:

    1) Against Jose Ramirez (his debut opponent), he weighed 129 pounds and Ramirez weighed 135 pounds.

    2) Against Orlando Salido, he was significantly outweighed and there isn't any dispute about that. Salido indisputably failed to make the official weight.

    3) Against Gary Russel Jr, he weighed 138 and a half pounds whilst Gary weighed 138 pounds.

    4) Against Nicholas Walters, he weighed 137 pounds whilst Waters weighed 136 pounds.

    5) Against Jason Sosa, he weighed 139 pounds whilst Sosa weighed 142 pounds.

The only two smaller sized opponents were Rigondeaux and Marriaga who moved up in weight divisions to box against him. Otherwise, he is either outweighed by his opponents, or he outweighs his opponents by merely a pound.

So how exactly is Lomachenko picking on smaller opponents and where did this myth come from?

Loma's doing ok, he's not a weight bully. Blame the dumbasses on nsb and on twitter for demanding the Rigo fight. I even told some dudes on here that the fight was pointless because Loma and Rigo were too many weight classes apart but fools still insisted on the fight happening on here.

Freddie Roach did in a very article posted on this forum itself. Perhaps research next time before accusing others foolishly?

Ok and? That's one person. That's not popular opinion here nor anywhere else. Perhaps read my whole statement next time. I said one person saying it doesn't make it popular opinion.

And I haven't watched the video but he was probably talking about Loma fighting guys moving up. I wouldn't use weight bully to describe that. Weight bully is cutting extreme weight to stay in your weight class for an advantage

Lalin/Mirko always on this one, constantly going on about Lomachenkos Olympic weight, told him they do same day weigh ins at the Olympics, completely ignored me and carried on his tirade through multiple threads. Come to be expected from Mirko though

It's mostly the PBC/TMT crowd hating on Lomachenko, don't worry about those fools.
