If you're a Tarver fan and dislike Hopkins I would say it's probably rated REAL low, because Tarver really didn't do anything in that fight.

If you're a Hopkins fan, or you just really want to see Tarver get schooled, then I'd say it's an 8 or a 9, depending how much you dislike Tarver.

If you're a neutral boxing fan who likes slugfests, I'd give it a 5/10.

If you're a neutral boxing fan who likes skill fighting and technicians, I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10, or maybe an 8. Hopkins pace is much better than it had been in a while.

What annoys me usually is not so much Hopkins himself but his deluded fans on here who say stuff like "he had 20 defences, which is more than any other middleweight - so that must mean he was a better boxer than Sugar Ray Robinson, mustn't it?"

This win by Hops shows what Roy did to Tarver in the 1st fight would have been twice as emphatic had Roy not had to lose weight. People were silly in the 1st place for convincing themselves that Roy was 100% after losing pounds of muscle to fight Tarver.
