Unfortunately this was best left as a fantasy fight as Loma would've been too big even at 126. Rigo is a tiny guy.

Loma is very talented and I hope he gets to Showcase this soon against a better matched opponent.

I will say this though- people were screaming for this fight to happen and called Loma a coward for not immediately accepting the challenge. Nobody was asking for a Mayweather Marquez fight.

so in a way he's right........and to add insult to injury you have guys screaming at the top of their lungs to accept this as a great unreal win for loma (when loma himself will tell u it was nothing great the guy was tiny)

Actually that works in his favor! Loma can do to boxing, what Eminem did to Hip-Hop, and what Justin Timberlake did to R & B! White kid with "swag" in and out the ring! It works for Conor McGregor!

Destroyed by Floyd at 146 yet put Manny to sleep at 147, thank you to!

Can Loma dominate Pacquiao, like Pacquiao dominated Oscar? Loma needs that type of performance to get the casuals talking about him! The casuals won't pay to watch Loma vs. Berchelt, or Loma vs. Machado, but they'll pay to see Pacquiao vs. Lomachenko! Would you rather see Pacquiao vs. Crawford? That's even worse for Manny!
I want to see Loma school Mikey Garcia. Mikey Garcia is just all work rate and come forward... that's tailor made for anyone with the boxing skills of Loma. I want to see Loma fight Garcia at 135 right now while Garcia is hot (Haymon and Arum both do business with ESPN) and then move back down to 130 to clean out the division.

That would be a great fight, but it would sell even more if Loma beats Pacquiao first! Look what Pac's win over De La Hoya did for Pacquiao's career! So Mikey is fighting for his 4th title in February, Arum wants Loma to fight in March or April, Horn is talking about Mundine (WTF?), so let Loma fight Pacquiao (ESPN 1st PPV), and then, if all goes well, we get Garcia vs. Lomachenko for the WBC Lightweight Title in the summer!

So is Mayweather saying he could not beat a bigger good fighter like Golovkin or a super middleweight like Froch? Could be. His style though would give him a chance, but not at fortysomething and the way he looked against McGregor.

Great, then there should be no problem making Davis fight him.
