I also think when the HW nonsense concludes late this year, pundits will put that guy as P4P #1 due to politics. (HW propaganda)

But imo, Loma seemed to be number 1 way back after he outboxed Russell Jr. When I saw how much faster his hands were in the fight, I thought to myself, "If he's that fast with that footwork, no way he loses below 140." I still think that's true now. Obviously you gotta rack up the bodies, but I don't think anybody legitimately believes there's a better pure boxer out there right now. They just wont admit it.

Mikey wins and it won't be close. Just too big and has shown his pop is devastating at 135 hell he was able to rock Broner at times at 140. Mikey is big will eventually fight at 147. Loma might win a few rounds early but I've seen Loma get hit by mediocre 130lb fighters if he takes the same shots from Mikey it's lights out.

And Lom was able to make the much faster Rigo miss so the slower Garcia will have a hard time landing. Lom's angles will have Garcia frustrated. UD win for Lom.

If he beat Mikey I'd be surprised. Let's remember the Salido/Loma fight. Loma was very tentative that fight due to Salido's power which could probably be attributable to the extra weight.

With Mikey, he's very heavy handed so Loma won't be nearly as comfortable as he has been lately. Also, Salido had no trouble finding Loma, whereas others who are afraid of his power become too afraid to let their hands go.

Some of the things you say make me laugh. Shoved down our throats by the media? This was the second highest rated boxing match all year and against rigo who cant sell **** to flies and also with an Hbo card on at the same time, and also with not much promotion. whether you guys like it or not loma is turning into one of the biggest stars in boxing and he earned it by facing top competition and completely toying with them and dominating. This fight was sold out in 3 days so its more like people are clamoring to see him and cant get enough rather than being forced on us, Thats laughable

That was Lom's 2nd fight and he learned and adjusted and uses much more movement. Lom will use angles and footwork as he has done since he learned from the Salido fight, reminiscent of Aaron Pryor who made straight forward fighters unable to cope with that style.

Loma dominated Rigo with superior speed and footwork and defense, he made a legendary fighter look weak and ordinary. Mikey doesnt have the accolades Rigo does, heck who has mikey even fought? Because he beat Broner in a snoozer now hes going to blow out loma? I wouldnt be surprised if Loma made Mikey quit, Mikey has no heart which is also whg Mikey is going to duck this fight like he does all the tough fights. Hes going to price himself out and say he got lowballed and then fight a weak opponent for less money like he always does. Mikey talks a good game but is scared to back it up in the ring. He uses peoples names like Loma and Cotto and Crawford to get people interested but he will never take a real challenge like Loma or Crawford he has shown over and over that he runs from those type of challenges
