That's less than 2 months. He would have gone from training for his last fight to fighting and then jumping right back into training for a more dangerous opponent. If he feels like he didn't have enough time then I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt. He's been inactive for most of his career and people expect him to move so quickly in a new division. Come on.
Now Sergei D's. team wants to make the fight for the early part of next year. Beating Sergei D. makes Andrade the mandatory for the winner of GGG vs. Canelo. If Andrade goes in another direction then we know his true colors. But for now I think people should get off his back. He's done plenty throughout his career to justify criticism. I think people are just reflexively crapping on him in this case because of his history and not because of the actual circumstances.
Had this been an isolated situation one might consider your words, but Andrade has been doing this throughout his career. Every time a big or important fight is about to happen he pulls out and makes up a bunch of excuses.
He has been given the benefit of the doubt for too long. If you're still buying this shieeet after all the fights he pulled out of than that's on you, but don't expect everyone else to continue falling for this crap.

We live during a time in this sport when we're lucky to see top level fighters fight twice in a calendar year and people are expecting Andrade to fight two times in three months. Come on. I know Andrade has given people plenty of reason to ***** on him but at some point people have to be reasonable.
