I voted Krusher by KO. I don't think he quit against Ward or that he is a quitter. The ref stopped the fight, not Kovalev. Ward didn't take his heart and soul as some say. Ward is the one who doesn't want to fight anymore and retired. That's Ward's right to retire undefeated and he had a great record but I thought Kovalev beat Ward the first time they fought. The ref wrongly stopped the 2nd fight when he should have been giving Kovalev 5 minutes to recover from a clear low blow. Time will tell if Ward ruined him but I don't think he did.

Max literally told you in the very beginning of the fight that if he was still the "crusher" (puncher) then he would put his opponent out because he is & was there to be hit BUT his opponent made koval lose balance from a jab & landed punches but had no power so kovalev had nothing to worry bout. Now that he won against a Taylor mad guy do you really think kovalev would beat a GOOD fighter?

I don't, I think Ward did ruin him especially from that right hand to the jaw that wobbled kovalev, I mean he even had kovalev getting in a car accident! He should hire a driver....he's ruined.

If anything, Kovalev ruined Ward proven by the fact that after the first fight, team Ward had to pay off Kovalev's coach, the refs, etc.. just before he ran for retirement

I didn't watch the fight but I've learned a few things from reading some of these comments.

1. KOs are still like shinny objects to a lot of posters on here. As soon as they see one they start chasing it like a cat chasing a light on a wall.

2. Adonis Stevenson is called "Chickenson" by the guy who quickly left the ring when he saw him in a post fight interview.

3. Poor discipline is actually a legitimate excuse for losing a fight. "How can you expect my guy to win when he was drinking vodka and eating sugar?"

you also left out that the guy with poor discipline won the first fight and was robbed and was tied in the second fight and was low balled.

I don't usually agree with what you say j. razor, but I think you may be onto something. I was surprised to see Kovalev that wobbled by that jab to the chest in round 1. I'm not sure if it's because El Chingonskyy is a monstrous puncher (B Hop said El Chingonskyy was a huge puncher in sparring) or if Kovalev is more vulnerable now. Time will tell.
