I do remember, Duva screwed that all up. No need in dwelling on the past though, I want to see them fight now

I think kovabītch only beats bivol out of all those fighters. Hes such a 1 dimensional hypejob its astonishing hes been gifted those titles vs 50 yr old bhop & now a complete bellhop nohoper bum.

Kovabītch is the biggest coward in all of boxing,if he was any race other than white hed be a COMPLETE laughing stock to his fanbois. Imagine if Ward/canelo/wilder quit like this COWARDIS loudmouth, these white hopers would be in a frenzy 4 eternity .

Only a great white hope could get a gifted title shot 1 fight after quitting like a complete bītch & back 2 back L's. And to top it off it was vs a complete rusky bum part timer that probably had to work as kkkovalevs uber driver on the way to the fight. & Yet these act
as if hes a real champ while shatting on warriors like Ward/canelo who dare to be great unlike these 1 division career cherrypicking soupcan assasins.

Not just that, but not only are HBO leaving out camera angles and information about how the fight went (to people who didn't see it), but they are even distorting information. It's one thing to tell Kovalev's side of the story, and then say "yeah but he looked really tired, and I'm not sure it was just the low blows." But for Max and Roy to completely distort Kovalev's words in order to make Ward look better is shameful. When they said, "if Kovalev didnt feel he legitimately lost the last fight, then why would he change anything? So deep down he knows he lost." Putting words in his mouth too. When in reality, Kovalev has been very consistent in saying he hasn't had the same stamina for his last THREE fights, which HBO of course leaves out.

Mentioning the Chilemba fight, which is the key to everything (meaning the truth) about how good Ward really is versus how declined Kovalev was in the Ward fights until he stopped his bad habits for this fight, would mess up HBO's pro-Ward narrative. Shameful. It's not like Ward gets less credit for """beating""" Kovalev because Kovalev only looked worse in their fights, and you have no idea whether that was due to Ward or due to Kovalev, so it would seem unfair to Ward to say that. It's the last THREE fights. Kovalev looked much worse vs Chilemba too, and gassed out badly even when Chilemba barely hit him all fight. THAT is the key to finding out the truth. THAT is what tells you Ward fought a very declined Kovalev (and still got bested until the early stoppage over the course of BOTH fights despite having two referees working for him and fouling throughout both fights).

So Ward not only fought a declined fighter, but he fought a declined fighter with corrupt refs and judges on his side, and was allowed to foul said declined fighter throughout both fights, and still lost more rounds, and still could never land a single knockdown, and still got outlanded in QUANTITY despite Kovalev being the bigger puncher and Ward supposedly being the less powerful, but more precise guy.

That's the real story of those two fights, but we will never hear it from HBO.

Lol. Im no Wilder fan, but I think even at 6'9, Wilder might have better stamina too. Or maybe it was just that Valera punched himself out in round 1. Or got too overaggressive in round 1 after the knockdown and got absolutely hammered by like 5 flush power shots to end that round, which HBO of course missed. Maybe those took everything out of him (except heart), but how come his knockdown of Barrera didnt take just as much out of Barrera? I guess maybe it was the repeated shots that took Valera's legs early, making him a sitting duck for body punches in rounds 2 and 3, and by round 4 he looked exhausted to me and Barrera was walking through his punches. But good comparison!

Weird that me and you can see this, and yet all the Ward haters somehow cannot.

Also weird that the same people don't see a difference between Gamboa going out of his way to reach out and hold on to Sosa and Ward's inside fighting. (Although apparently the ref could, and deducted Gamboa accordingly)
I dont like Ward, but I agree with you that Barrera beat Valera cleanly. Valera got overaggressive in round 1 after knocking down Barrera and walked right in to about 5 huge punches at the end of round 1, and his legs looked gone from that point onward, starting in the 2nd round, which made him a sitting duck for body punches, which took what was left of his legs and his core strength and his power.

Having said that, you are missing the point. If people say Valera got robbed, then that's ridiculous, but what was very clear was that a huge double standard existed. Valera was getting points deducted for singular low blows every 3 rounds or so, the likes of which Andre Ward was allowed to land on Sergey Kovalev multiple times per round with no point deductions and not even so much as a rest given to Kovalev.

So criticize the "Ward haters" who say Valera was robbed, if there are any. That's fair. But after seeing how much those low blows hurt Barrera (unless he was faking), and how he needed 30 seconds to recover from most of them, you should be much more critical of the Kovalev haters who keep saying "he quit" when in reality he took all those low blows Barrera got hit with, and 10x more, and fought through all of them, and never got a single rest except very briefly early in the fight, and even after 3 in a row to the balls after being hurt with a headshot earlier in the round and being headbutted in the balls earlier in the round, Kovalev still never went to the canvas, but rather looked to the ref in agony and leaned on the ropes expecting Ward to be warned.

If you want to talk about "haters' or double standards, how can you look at Barrera going to the canvas, and taking 3-4 breaks, after getting hit with only 6-7 low blows all night, and speak well of him, but then call Kovalev a quitter after he got hit with 10x that many but took less knees than Barrera and got no rest besides very briefly in one of the early rounds? I hope you can acknowledge that double standard otherwise you are the hater, not these other people. And I also hope you can acknowledge the difference between how much Ward was able to get away with without any point deductions compared to what Valera was able, or not allowed, to get away with in this fight. It's night and day when you have a corrupt or racist referee on your side. That difference was clear tonight, and you don't have to be a "Ward hater" to see it and acknowledge it. Boxing would be a much better sport if we were all honest about these things, and pressured the arbiters of the sport to fix them, no matter which boxers we root for.

Snap out of it Ward retired!
Just like when C.J. Super Star retired, no You Tube (yet).

But when Junior came along we realized there was no 2nd coming (even if Don Suleiman was his God Father)!

Hell Vito Corleone and half a dozen horses head's could not have saved the pot head!

Right! Guess Paper Chomp Ward watched the fight from his sofa and thought 'thanks God i haven't to face this bastard once more...'. This version of Krusher is a serious threat to the whole division, when it comes to be one against one. With CoWard was 1 against 4 (referee & judges)... Stay retired baby Andre, drop any temptations, this dude'd kill u in a third match...

He showed a better chin than almost everyone Krusher's fought. He just has no defense. Watch Shabbransky's fight vs Barrera. It was on HBO Latino. Shabbransky was winning early but he got hit by Barrera's right hand 100 times the exact same way. At the time I commented it was the worst defense I've ever seen at this level. Before that I thought Shabrannsky was pretty good because physically he is huge for the division, has a good chin, and has tons of power. "Robot fist" or whatever BHop called him. And he has snappy hooks. Not the fastest guy but not much slower than Barrera or Yunieski Gonzalez. It's just that I didnt know until he got to that level that he has absolutely zero defense especially vs the right hand. it was better tonight actually, which should tell you how bad it was before. The same exact punch every time, and he got hit with it 100 times. I said at the time he needed a new trainer immediately, someone to drill him with mitt work to avoid that shot, do it over and over until he learns, otherwise his career is over before it barely even started. He took a brutal beating vs Barrera because of it. Now this, luckily it was much shorter. He needs to learn to avoid that right hand or he's screwed. And he should stop sparring as much with animals like Canelo and all these other guys unil he learns that, otherwise I can imagine he's taking lots of damage in sparring too.
