^^^ this is why AJ dont want it. he knows what time it is. UK fans wont pressure them either because they're enjoying the ride. wilder represents the end.

While Ortiz appeared to step up he felt he had to juice to be competitive against Wilder and got caught then you have Hearn avoiding Wilder by giving English fans the appearance he wants to make a match then he makes impossible demands to avoid an actual confrontation which shows how much confidence even he has in Joshua. No question Wilder has to be considered the best heavyweight out there today, fighting all comers, its not his fault the rest of the wanna be's refuse to fight him while having their promoters talk a lot of crap while having their fighters fight washed up 41 year old champions who already lost or fighting absolute nobodies to pad records. It's so bad now with fighters avoiding Wiloder that he's left having to give rematches to fighters he has already dominated in order to stay active. Joshua is a media generated fake
Who did Wilder fight to make him the best HW fighting Stiverne twice?

That live gate on Saturday fell somewhere between 750k - and 1.2 million with an audience of 10k. Can't be sure because we don't know the comp number, but it's more than than last fight with Stiverne that had attendance of 8k and 750k at the live gate (4k tickets were comped for that fight).

I had free tickets for the second level (behind the floor seats) on Saturday. So I know some were comped though. But I think Lou has done pretty good with him so far. I doubt Eddie has much success in the US outside of setting up AJ here (if it happens). The fight on Saturday will tell us a lot.
The live gate only pays Wilder and Stiverne salaries for the fight....Promoters made no profit

"Why can't it happen next?," DiBella asked during a post-fight press conference early Sunday morning. "They literally fought one week apart. Neither one of them is hurt. They're exactly on the same schedule."

Seeing how this is playing out, Hearn will not be putting in Joshua with Wilder anytime soon. Shame on you so called fight fans fixated on who is the A-side, who draws and who doesn't when you should be pushing for the fight to happen. it is obvious who the A-side is and i don't think Wilder is delusional enough to think the fight terms be on even footing neither have I seen or heard him presented himself as the A-side. Fight Whyte, who is really a heavyweight bum, with no Joshua guarantee doesn't do much either, other than perhaps for the money. At this juncture, Wilder should just push for his other fights that fell through (Povetkin and Ortiz). If he puts on dominating performance, the true fight fans will apply pressure and the fight will happen in due time. Joshua to me looks like he will benefit from a couple of more fights anyway he can confidently step up to the challenge.

The fighter purses are paid for by the network on premium cable. The promoter is responsible for other fees and expenses (chiefly insurance and some marketing). This card likely made a profit, but not a substantial one

How many times has Wilder or DiBella or Haymon or Tom Brown or Shelly Finkel or Jay Deas has offered a contract to Anthony Joshua or any of Joshua's handlers?

                  I'll wait for the answer....

This idea that the risk of losing would kill AJ's value at the box office is also wrong.

There's no evidence/data to support the argument that taking a loss hurts a fighter at his level in terms of ticket sales. Just look at PPV history (the data is a "pay per view" Google search away). If anything, losing makes the guy more money b/c of rematches.
Absolutely. And after Parker's performance against Hughie Fury compared to Wilder's demolition of Stiverne, Wilder is now Joshua's biggest money fight. A rematch will likely earn even more.

Hearn's "marinate" excuse is tiresome and disingenuous. Team Joshua is ducking.

You're in the business Lou. You know damn well why. If Wilder had the belts that AJ has, he would milk it too.
