Loma will win because he is a lot busier and will find ways to poke holes through rigos defense. Loma has A grade defense himself and Rigo isnt busy enough and wont be able to win enough rounds and that will be the difference. Rigo has been dropped in some fights too, loma might be able to knock him out but im leaning towards a decision

No way a boxing fan can call this a snoozefest man!!! That’s Like like an art lover saying it’s boring to watch da Vinci paint a materpiece. If you love this sport, which I would have to say you do because you give your time to the site, you have to appreciate this match. It may not have the action of a fast and the furious movie, but it will have the suspense of an “Usual Suspects”. Which one won an Oscar?

I'm rooting for the clear underdog here Rigo, but I think that he's way past it and I think that his inactivity especially at the championship level will hurt him a lot against the way bigger, way younger and way more active Lomachenko, plus if the fight was close, which it probably will, Lomachenko will get the decision. the powers that be in boxing don't like Rigo and I'm sure they will never give him the benefit of the doubt against Lomachenko.

Hopefully Rigo is making good money this fight because this is probably his last fight at the big stage and I think it's a shame for someone with that kind of talent and ability to leave the sport broke because some promoters and commentators who never fought before talk crap about him all the time.

I see it going like Crawford/Gamboa. Just the size advantage being the deciding factor. I hope not though. This is probably the first fight I’m actually rooting for someone to win. I’m usually “may the best man win”. I LOVE Loma and rigo (2 of my favorite actives) but have to go with my countryman/underdog on this one. (I’m racist haha). WAR RIGO!!!!!!

I predict the "Rigondeaux was robbed" threads are gunna send this place into a meltdown. He'll need to win at least 8 clear rounds in a fight I don't see rounds being clearly won by anyone. Gunna get intense on here.

Lol why do people think Rigondeaux is going to get knocked out by a guy who is not even a real puncher and by puncher I mean a guy who doesn't rely on his power.


Rigondeaux is the type of fighter who could only get K.O'd by someone who will rely on their power to win the fight against him. Guys like Donaire who loaded up on his shots to land a punch that puts Rigo to sleep. Sure he's been clipped (Rigo), but he will never be put out unless someone is a very strong puncher who is also good enough to land that shot. Someone who can get "lucky."

Loma is a technical fighter, he will not go out there to hope to land a punch that puts the smaller Rigo to sleep. He will take whatever is open, which will be slim to nothing. Loma probably won't put any power into any of his punches just to be able to land on Rigodeaux, Loma will not be there to take risks and chances in order to get his work in.

It's going to be a chess match, literally. Two intellectual, technical, high level, high skill, high speed thinking fighters going at it. This fight can very well end up being "boring" by ****** fake boxing fan's standards and ideals.

I stand by the fact NO ONE will beat Rigo in a battle of straight up boxing ability. It's like trying to out-box Floyd Mayweather. You won't beat him by being a pure boxer. No matter how good of a pure boxer you are, he will be the better purer boxer. That's why I think Rigo will win this fight. Lomachenko will not open up and take the necessary risks in order to win the fight. He will look like Pacquiao in there against Mayweather.

thing is mayweather fough alot of plodding slower guys than himself. Fought pac 6 yrs too late. Be like if AJ kept putting wilder off for another 5 yrs. Plus loma has around ten pro fights. He been working on sitting down on punches more and power seems to be getting better. Hence ppl strting to just quit against him. Nobody ever quit against a malagnaggi lol. Loma vs rigo gonna be good. But loma gonna win imo. He wont be out hussled, he has footwork and speed to deal with rigos. And he is way more active and has not shown a weak chin.
