Once again: Meldonium is as useful as a cup of coffee. No wait.. itīs also a perfect excuse to avoid a fight. It was already common knowledge (by WADA) that small traces can be detected months after last using. At least Ostarine is a genuine PED, but still nowhere near as potent as steroids. I still think the best way to restore some credibility for pro boxing is WADA: their rules, their bans and ANY fighter can be tested 24/7/365. In the case of Povetkin that wouldīve meant a warning for Meldonium and a two year ban for Ostarine. Or no testing at all. Cry all you want, I really donīt care.

A thread about povetkin and everyone says hes a disgusting cheat and should not be allowed to fight again.
... no, man... but after those "traces of "meldonium", wasn't he caught on PEDs again, before the Stiverne fight?... for his last fight, Povetkin undertook VADA and proved to be clean...

If Povetkin is back on the juice, hammer is getting slaughtered. If he's clean like he was against Rudenko, this is a tough, competitive fight

I believe it was twice, the first time the drug was legal months prior to the failed test, the second time...i cant actually remember what the substance was?

btw i meant Beltran and not collazo, i always confuse the two (das racist)

... I don't think Povetkin is back on PEDs... I assume that his handlers want him to "behave properly", because they seem they are liable to pay a huge fee to Wilder (... "a federal judge in Manhattan took just an hour to rule in Wilder’s favour. Wilder was awarded $5 million as it was found Povetkin ingested meldonium after the World Anti-Doping Agency’s ban on the drug came into effect in January 2016...")

Really? people seem to be forgetting povetkin is an elite HW with an olympic gold medal, endurance drugs or not hammer is not even close to povetkins level...

or are we now saying that he was juicing for the olympics too and his skills are a myth?

... the "meldonium" issue was somehow questionable, but vs Stiverne he was caught as being on "ostarine"...

That was a long time ago. He also went life and death with Huck and Takam and the Rudenko fight was a back and forth scrap. He's up there in age now too and Hammer is on a pretty nice run

We should all pity the ignorance of it
I donīt recall Americans boycoting Holyfield, the most obvious PED lab I can think of. Nor do I care, just reminding ignorance is an endless resource all over the globe.

life and death gets thrown around if you lose half a round these days, huck was never the same after that fight, takam got brutally knocked out and rudenko lost practically every round after trying to quit in the first round

Yes hes very old now but he still has far too much for euro level hammer.
