Comments Thread For: Photos: Corrales Very Overweight: Machado, Andrade, Fox Ready

The 12-round Middleweight co-feature battle will take place from Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York on tomorrow's HBO "Boxing After Dark" starting at 10:05 p.m. ET/PT featuring main event Jezereel Corrales vs. Alberto Machado in a 12 round WBA Jr. Lightweight title bout. Corrales was four pounds over the weight limit and it's not likely that he will lose it in the required 2 hours. Machado was 130 on the nose. More than likely the title will become vacant and only Machado will have the ability to win it. If Corrales wins, then the belt will remain vacant.

I expect Corrales to win and the belt to be vacated. Just looked at the WBA rankings, would like to see Cuellar vs Fortuna for the title

Corrales looks crazy drained. Needs to move up in weight and shave those goldilocks off.

Then drink a lot of water.

Any word on if Corrales has re-weighed or is going to even attempt it? I saw he was overweight on twitter close to an hour ago iirc.

Yes, at 133.25, lost title on the scale.

Fox is the underdog but he will certainly be on the map if he is able to defeat Andrade.
