This was the uppercut that had landed clean by RJJ on Calzaghe in Rd 1 would’ve been the same result. This landed clean on the glove whereas RJJ’s wrist hurt Joe

He can though. It’s happened before. Off the top of my head i can think of Badou jack.

Badou was more fundamentally sound that Lubin though, and more experienced.

We've also seen what happened when Thomas Dulorme lost to Abreu.

Hopefully Lubin can come back from this, but he shouldn't fight for a title for at least 2 more years and during that time he needs to fight some B and C level fighters before he steps up again.

It's tough to go from fighting D level fighters to fighting an A level fight without a gradual progression.

Blame Andrade for your headache. Andrade was originally Charlo's second mandatory after Hatley. Andrade ran away and fought Culcay for the WBA regular belt and the wbc had to organise a new mandatory (Lubin) for Charlo.

Then Andrade ran away to middleweight just as the WBA was about to order he fight the WBA super champ (Lara).

Andrade is the reason you aint seen the big fights at 154. He keeps ducking and pulling out of fights and mandatory positions.

Sad but true. The thing is, I feel like Andrade would be a hell of a tough fight for the Charlo's but maybe he doesn't think so?

Admitted when it was announced that it might be too soon but I was riding with Lubin. This fight didn't prove he was some hyped bum, just that Charlo is legit. This is what boxing should be. Let guys just fight instead of marinating them.
