First time seeing or watching Hurd fight, he would need to improve if he doesn’t want the other Charlo brother to overtake that division. He has a long insane reach doe but he might need to work on his stamina a bit.

Trout was done by the later rounds, Hurd was just walking him down, mouth open, hands down sometimes. Another fighter with a better stamina could have hurt trout badly.

It's not according to me, it's a known fact. Fighters who have lax schedules and haven't been through wars have a lot less wear and tear than others.

Ward retired not because of age but because he got a nice job as a commentator and he obviously ducking Stevenson.

I have never heard of a 32 year old being classified as an old AF boxer. At least not in this generation of boxers.

It sounds like you're just trying to discredit Hurd, worse thing is you contradict yourself by stating that Lara turned pro later than Trout, implying that he has less wear and tear compared to Trout despite being older, yet at the same time you try to brush away the wear and tear argument.

Some argue that Trout wasn't as hungry when he fought Canelo as when he fought Cotto, which is why he lost.

People make all sorts of excuses, just like you. Fact is, this Trout is more experience and no doubt has picked up a lot of lessons from the time he fought Canelo, and he's only 32 years old despite people's best efforts to make it sound like he is old AF. He's younger than Lara and GGG, and he's only 3 years older than Andrade.

Also, having not been KO'd before and not fighting going through many wars, and aged only 32, I'd argue that he is still very much in his prime and is actually better than he was when he fought Canelo.

Anyway that is all irrelevant, you can't prove he's past prime no more than I can prove that he is still in his prime.

Only thing we know for sure is that he is more experienced than he was before and the only thing we know for sure is that Hurd is the first one to stop him. He said he would, and he did exactly that.

Hurd was a LHW in there.....

Trout is considered a big JMW and he looked small in there. Hurd was every bit 175 lbs. Trout hit him with the kitchen sink and couldn't keep Hurd at bay. He'll be a tough out for anyone cus of size and brut strength.
