    A question about 147 rankings

For a while Brook was the top WW. Spence beats Brooke(the top WW), Thurman beats Garcia and Thurman is the top ww. How does that work?

I think Brook was top until Thurman beat Garcia, then he became no 1. Afterwards, Spence beat Brook and became no 2. Thurman has at least one more top name win on his record than Spence so that is the justification for some people.

Ranking are a matter of opinion and different people or ranking places often don't agree. I think Spence's KO of Brook *****s Thurman's very close wins over Porter and Garcia. Spence was already looking good before he KOed Brook. If Thurman and Spence ever fight I think Spence will prove he is the best welterweight in the world.
