Check my other post (detailing my view of the fight). I was walking around claiming Canelo won for weeks until I went back and rewatched the fight (did it 5 times). He didn't "win" that fight. I could live with a draw, but claiming he beat Lara is not genuine.
Man Im sorry i cant drag myself to watch that fight again... I didnt lile it the 1st time.

Prior to the fight I argued that GGG would win. He did not do so convincingly enough to argue that he did imo. I think Canelo made a good account of himsekf on that night and showed enough to favor him in the rematch.

You guys are like fan girls who lack the ability to be truthful or admit being wrong. Canelo didn't look convincing at all against Lara.
YOU just claimed that you had originally thought Lara won,but im being rediculous for thinking the same still? And I assumed u thought ggg won, because you've ALWAYS said he would in the past so my bad if im mistaken on that.

Bottom line Canelo was the one who landed more clean punches than lara & Lara went in w ton of confidence & then started acting scared af from there on imo. Relax nobody said my opinion is law,im just saying I could've sworn I remember u always shîtting on canelo never giving him fair chance,if thats changed then alright.

And imo the ggg vs canelo fight has more of an argument for a clear winner than lara vs nelo as lara made it a horrible fight to watch & easy 2 favor canelo in cards as he didn't do enough to show hes better, canelo vs ggg nelo traded & would sit on ropes to trade(while fighting backwards)but lara just flat out "ran" imo because he didn't trade for sh.

I can possibly see a draw being fair but Lara didn't do enough to win as he barely threw anything all night.

I'm pretty sure I recall you quoting me in agreement when I said "Cotto Canelo wasn't close." In favor of Alvarez as he was too strong and composed. But whatever.

Canelo is a really good fighter, but I think it's fair to say we're still waiting on him to "wow" the boxing community.

He hasn't had that moment as a boxer imo. I think a clear run away victory in the rematch goes a long way. I always try to evaluate every fight/matchup independently.

I agree with him. Canelo has 3 losses on his record. The judges got paid by Oscar to give him a draw, lost to Lara, and a ridiculous split decision to Mayweather.

serious boxing fans are 50-50 on who who really won lara-canelo. i didnt watch.

cj ross was crooked (fake scores on mayweather-alvarez & pacquiao-bradley 1). i think she retired. the judge who ruled alvarez-golovkin a draw needs to be suspended & investigated. byrd shoulda been fired a long time ago.

golovkin beat him 8-4, but i think he did really good, especially slippin punches. maybe bext time hell throw more.

why give a rematch to someone he beat with ease? Despite the absurd scorecard, that fight wasn't close. As far as him not being used to that style, he's never going to be used to that style. He still has trouble with guys who can actually box and move.

what's iffy about his loss to Floyd? His own trainer is on video right after the fight (in the showtime epilogue) saying that there was no way that fight should've been scored a draw.
