Comments Thread For: Wilder-Stiverne: Ticket Prices Adjusted for Card at Barclays 11/4

Tickets prices to the November 4 boxing card at Barclays Center in Brooklyn have been adjusted to reflect the change in Deontay Wilder's opponent. Wilder was supposed to defend his WBC heavyweight title against Luis Ortiz in what was supposed to be the most challenging fight of the undefeated Wilder's nine-year pro career. The WBC would not approve that fight, however, after Ortiz tested positive last month for two diuretics as part of the WBC's "Clean Boxing Program."

AJ should just do the fight in England. Wilder is a nobody wont be as big a draw if they do it in Vegas rather than packing an arena in England.

Wilder should march into Haymons office and demand he jack the price up to double and no under cards either or he will cancel the fight to remind the fans he is the king of boxing .

This could get him the reputation of a very mean war monger only out for himself who craves center of attention and gets Joshua even more shook when all the seats are practically empty . He could then claim hes so scary not even fans wants to see him live anymore and some of them are even ducking him .

Everyone knows and agrees that Golden Boy Promotions is the #1 Promotional company of the present and the future....but if I was Deontay's manager I would do anything I could to get him signed to Roc Nation. With his skin tone, he could easily be "earning" 15 million for this fight and 25 million for a unification that only earns about 750k at the gate and 350k ppv buys. On top of that, Wilder could do steroids and get away with it too even then playing field on all these heavyweight juicers. Not to mention his ko percentage will keep rising because Roc Nation will put refs in there that will be watching for even the slightest chance to stop the fight in Deontay's favor even if the opponent never goes down.
