WBA super bantamweight world champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KOs) is very eager to get in the ring with Vasyl Lomachenko (9-1, 7 KOs), who holds the WBO super featherweight title. The fight will mark a historic battle with two amateur legends who are both two-time Olympic gold medal winners. Lomachenko vs. Rigondeaux will take place on December 9th from The Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City. The contest will headline a televised card on ESPN.

Lomachenko could stop him. It's always weird with Roc Nation scorecards, but I don't think they can pull that on Top Rank.

Loma should win this but I can see rigo giving him fits at times... I dont think the weight will be the difference in the fight, there not that far apart, for me it's the same as a middleweight goin to super middleweight, plenty have gone up and been successful

So, do you not think Rigo will have some success in this one? Or do you think he made a mistake taking the fight?

I see him having some success, maybe even winning a UD, but it could go either way. Maybe not a 50/50 fight, but I don't think Rigo has that bad of odds. And I'm not ignoring this will likely be both fighters toughest fight so far.

I no what your saying, proportionally it's a lot bigger, but 5-6kgs is nothing when there's this much skill involved. Rigo will have a good training camp, won't have to worry about weight at all and will probably put on a little solid muscle..... skills will pay the bills in this fight, can wait to see it

Already making excuses for Big-Ho huh? Maybe he should just do roids like Andrelone coWard.

From now on, you don't speak unless you ask Lou Cipher in private message and he says ok. Also you are to remove the toilet seat in your apartment until November 1.

                Don't piss me off.

                  Jump from 122 to 130 it's 6.6 %
For middleweights 160*6.6%=170.56 lbs.So it's closer to 168 division which one division above middleweight

                    definitely, no question !

he is a textbook fighter, technically..... veeery tight/accurate, he will give Loma nothing

but the weight is an issue, and they say that this is a young man's game for a reason

Rigo is slightly better, technically..... but Loma is more well-rounded, and accustomed to the weight

wouldn't bet a dollar on that fight

riding with the Cuban because he is reaching for greatness, but the Ukrainian is a phenom

it shoulda been at 126 but, GREAT fight !!

WAR Rigo, best of luck to both guys !!
