how has joshua overtaken wilder so quickly?

Wilders next opponent- stiverne (again). Joshuas next opponent- Pulev.

How does that happen, 4 years younger and in half the fights Joshua has/will have fought two guys better than wilders fought.

Why is this? How come joshuas had no such problems making an impact on the heavyweight division?

I see everyone saying wilder is 'feared', but doesnt joshua have a 100 percent knockout ratio? If anything he looks a lot more physically intimidating than wilder. Weve also seen wilder struggle badly against scrubs in the past so surely people would think they have more of a shot against him? I dont understand that line of reasoning that people are somehow scared to fight wilder but not joshua.

So Is wilder just unlucky though? Or is there really no excuse for his dog**** resume considering hes 4 years older and had twice as many fights?

One's best win is Wlad, the others best win is Stiverne.

Joshua should have Pulev on his resume as a win soon too which is better than anyone Wilder has beaten. In fact, i'd probably pick Dillian Whyte to beat all of Wilder's opponents, and he isn't that good. For someone who is about to have his 20th fight. Beating Whyte, Wlad, Pulev (if he wins) and Breazeale is pretty good going.

Stiverne is Wilders best win and he is garbage. Stiverne's best win is a shot Arreola. It's not entirely Wilder's fault though if good opponents are failing tests.

Joshua is ahead of him as it stands.

Joshua has absolutely eclipsed wilder in terms of relevance, crossover appeal, global popularity etc. He did so by facing klitschko and the fight turning out to be one of the most entertaining hw fights in recent history.

Most cases of "fear" are more about high risk low reward than actual fear.

Why should someone who pursues a title match go for the wilder route? He pays much lower than joshua, its simple economics.

Most of these challengers: molina, arreola, stiverne, breazeale, martin. They probably know that they are not and wont be the pinnacle of the sports. What these guys are striving for is to maximize their life earnings.

That was the same problem when the klitschko brothers were reigning.
No contenders were fighting against each other. Everyone was content with fighting tomato cans until they got a call from the klitschkos.
These guys wouldnt risk their shot at klitschko by getting into 50/50 fights for 1/20th of a title purse.

Anthony Joshua has always seemed like he had a vision! Where as I can remember awhile back, Deontay Wilder basically admitting that he was participating in boxing to pay for his daughters medical bills! (This is very honorable of him but? I personally just sense that (He is not in this game for the greatness deep down!).

He could easily of based himself in the UK, and gainned massive exposure! American fighters just seem uninspired to try something different these days, they never really want to self promote themselves ether!...

(David Haye is a fighter who did not win a Olympic medal, and for 90% of his career he did things the hard way! and self promoted himself to the max through many avenues! )...
