        lol

Taylor deserves it as much as Sturm does.

In his prime, Hopkins owns Calzaghe. Even now I think Hopkins could beat him soundly, but we'll have to see what he looks like in the Eastman fight.

Hopkins could move up, but there are good fights in the middleweight division if he doesn't want to...(Tito, Taylor, Sturm...etc.)

Whose to say that Johnson will even have the title when Hopkins is ready? Before all the talk was with rematching against Tarver in the summer, which is a fight he could easily lose. Thing is, though, when Johnson was on FNF he seemed to be acting as if the rematch wasn't going happen. He vaguely blamed Tarver, but of course you always blame the other guy when a matchup isn't going to get done. Maybe him and Hopkins have been talking about this one for a while now.

It's still a big jump for Hopkins to make, though. Sounds like he's seriously thinking about retirement after this year, though, like he promised his Mom. Sounds like he wants to do his defence, maybe match up against Trinidad or Taylor, then move up for one big last fight.

On the Larios - McCullough telecast last night, Johnson said he would be fighting Tarver probably in May...

Glen only holds a minor belt right now (IBO). I think he's still the Ring magazine champ though.

              . WINKY WRIGHT - 48-3 (25)

It took the Winkster 14 years and 50 pro fights to get the shot at Shane Mosley this year that proved that he belonged on this list. Let's hope he does all he can to make the proposed showdown with Felix Trinidad, so he can either prove that he belongs in the elite Top 5 area - or that Tito deserves to return there. Whether or not the fight with Trinidad can be made (it's being talked about for March 19), Wright proved that he's ready for the likes of Tito by beating back two spirited challenges from Mosley. In the first fight, Wright willingly engaged in in-fighting with Mosley, getting the better of the head-strong 154-pound champ before establishing the distance over the second half of the bout and coasting to an easy victory. In the rematch, Wright controlled the more focused Sugar Man with a simple one-two stick for the majority of the fight to solidify his claim as the best junior middleweight on the planet. Fight fans want to know if Wright can exert the same dominance over someone his own size and there's only one way to find out - bring on Tito!

Yeah, he only has the IBO belt, but the Ring champ is all that matters, really.

Good to know that he will be rematching against Tarver. Should be a good one.

Hopkins will beat johnson IF he moved up but why the **** should he, he's a career middleweight, you don't have to jump divisions just to be considered great.
Look at Holy he did more at Heavy than cruiser but people still say he's only a blown up cruiser!!!! Two weight champ, twice undisputed, 4 times heavy ( i know only 3 legit ) but thats some achievment for a blown up fighter, anyways if he doesn't grow old overnight, which i don't think he will, i reckon he's got 2 or 3 high class perfomances left excluding Eastman, so will hopefully fight Tito, Sturm or Taylor then grow old and very very fat ala Naz
