Jesse Hart will be champion of the world.

This guy is a very good boxer in the 168 division.

He landed punches a little wide but man...

Has a great variety of punches, good skills, a extremely large jab, height, reach, power in both hands, heart and is a good counterpuncher.

He will be champ in 168 or 175. Mark my words, people.

I don't think he will.... He showed me something last night that all of the "great losers" in boxing have.

What was it you might ask?

There was a point when Hart hurt Ramirez in the 10th or 11th. Wanna know what Hart did in result? Not a damn thing. Barely even threw a punch

It was at that point that I knew Hart will always be the tallest midget or right on the cusp of becoming champion, but never getting over that hump

Sure he may pick up one the non respected belts, but hell never be WBA/WBC/IBF and if you count WBO, sure

That 20 second window told me a lot about Hart as a fighter. I've seen many come and go and he's one of them

Compa, he was tired as hell.

He showed heart, he received a lot of punches in the body, he was very hurted in the second round and he did a good fight till the 12.

Ramirez has a granite chin, Hart landed a lot of great punches, simply Ramirez has a granite chin.

I said in this forum that Miguel Berchelt would be champ, and now he is.

          The same with Luis Nery.

And now Im saying the same with this guy.

He did better than I thought & seemed like he hurt Gilberto just not enough or didn't even catch it. But I think he lacks some confidence in his skills to cuz he seemed like he didn't wanna be there several times last night so idk about him being a future title holder, but then again being a title holder isn't like being champion.

If you are a top ten guy who COULD end up holding a belt. So sure I could see it happen for Hart, but personally I don't have any confidence in him becoming the #1 guy at this weight & I'm not sold he even wins a title. Maybe he can parlay a vacant title shot when Gilberto moves up or something & that WBO/Top Rank belt is opened up.

And the right hand was too brutal too.

He has a good left hook and I saw him throwing good punches to the body.

This kid has a good variety of punches.

Fatigue had nothing to do with it. Hart showed great cardio in the 12th

It wasn't fatigue, it was more of just knowing how to do just enough to be competitive, but when given the opportunity to actually win, the guy was nowhere to be found

It's more of a mental thing than skill

I'm not saying he doesn't have the skills to be a champ. I'm just saying he doesn't have the mental belief in himself to be champ

Oh and before I forget, Harts chin is garbage. He made Zurdo look like a prime Mike Tyson/Julian Jackson in there.

That's 2 strikes against him. Very big strikes. But hey, we'll see

If he can't beat a Ramirez who's learning on the job due to not having much amateur experience, then sorry...at 28 years old I don't see how he's going to grow much more as a boxer. This WAS his time to shine. He was 85-11 in the am's and a National GG winner, Ramirez had less than 50 am fights and not very decorated. This is where he's learning now really. This was Hart's time to separate himself and show the difference between having good am background and not having it, and he lost.
