Comments Thread For: Luis Ortiz: No Judges, I'll Knock Wilder Out - Then I Want Joshua!

On November 4, Cuba's Luis 'King Kong' Ortiz will finally have the opportunity that he's been waiting for. The dangerous puncher will return to the ring at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, when he faces World Boxing Council champion Deontay 'Bronze Bomber' Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs). Showtime will televise the fight. And Ortiz (27-0, 23 KOs) is not looking to take his chances with a decision. He intends to end the contest by knockout.

End of the day the winner of the Ortiz v Wilder fight will be who the public demand for Joshua's next fight (provided he beats Pulev, whom is TBRB #5). Hopefully the WBC or more pertinently the WBA don't do anything to scupper that.

He did drop Scott at least once if I remember, but you have to remember how easy it is to tag Wilder the first few rounds. And his chin is just as suspect as Scotts. This by no means is an easy fight for Wilder. It will easily be his toughest test.

Finally after almost three years wilder fights a contender. Finally. Now he can yell out bomb squad instead of bum squad. After he takes his for L he'll be back to fighting bums.

Ortiz will certainly drop Wilder but trust me Wilder will run all night.
