Canelo Alvarez's stamina was depleted due to Golovkin's pressure more than just having bad stamina himself. One can have all the stamina in the world, but if they are constantly being chased around the ring by someone who is as fearful of a puncher as Golovkin is, then even the most energetic individuals could be drained. Pressure breaks pipe and enough pressure breaks even durable pipes. Similar thing here. Enough pressure by Golovkin can make even the best conditioned boxers depleted in energy.

Put Canelo Alvarez in the ring against somebody who doesn't apply pressure the way Golovkin does, then you'll probably find that Canelo Alvarez doesn't get anywhere near as tired as he did against Golovkin.
Golovkins pressure definitely had something to do with it but man was GGG tired too. In between rds he was breathing really hard as well. High level boxing will do that too any athlete no matter how conditioned if they're getting hit, moving, throwing feints. It wasn't just one way both guys were spent.

I think he can make a change. Obviously he'll never be a cardio machine 80+ punches a rd lol but he can definitely have better stamina to stand and trade with GGG more often. He can improve his cardio enough to win the next fight.

I think thatll be the difference in the rematch. Canelo can improve, we've already seen the best of GGG.

Golovkin was more tired, relative to his own past performances. Which is understandable because the guy is now 35 years old whereas he was younger befpre. However, Golovkin was less tired relative to Canelo Alvarez. That is despite being 8 years older and past his best.

If you noticed, Golovkin's intensity when applying pressure, when attacking and when being aggressive was roughly the same in virtually every single round, from beginning to end. Thus showing greater consistency. On the other hand, Canelo Alvarez was showing far less consistency with his offense.

he just hired and S & C coach for this fight, but coditioning takes time as well as adjusting to a new weight class, hopefully we can start to see the results next year, he never had and S & C coach before so i expect some improvement...

He can easily do it. He's just too diva. All that 155 diva bullshit caught up to him. When you want to be great, you have to push yourself beyond your limits to do so.
