Can Canelo now get his respect?

I give Canelo a lot of credit. He has a hell of a chin, and surely wasnt flat footed last night. Canelo fought a great fight and is the future of the MW division. I had GGG winning, and I can understand a draw, but 118-110 is some sh it we don't need in this sport.

Maybe I missed something, but I don't recall seeing a ton of people saying Canelo will get destroyed. Certainly not anyone I spoke to. I understand there are ridiculous fans who say things, but you get that with any top fighter. I just ignore it. Anyway, the general feeling seems to be that GGG won, which I agree with. It was close, but clear. Also, if anyone didn't respect Canelo, well that person doesn't know anything. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here, or of the reasoning behind this thread I should say.
