This fight exposed GGG, he is not the bogey man, not anymore, 12 rounds with a Jr Middleweight who is making his debut in the weight class lol?
On top of that, the eye catching punches were landed by Canelo, the top 4 shots of the fight were landed by the Mexican, period end of story.
118-110 sucks, but this def was a draw, and would have been an L for GGG if Canelo didn't fade slightly in the middle rounds.
GGG is an elite boxer puncher that will get laid out by the first fighter he sees with serious power and a delivery system.
Canelo proved himself last night, not only did he stand in, and not so much as get knocked down(even though the bigger Jacobs did) Canelo landed huge shots on GGG, hurt him several times, GGG can BS us all he wants, he felt those shots.

Listen, it's simple... either Canelo is a **** boxer and GGG beating him says nothing good about GGG, or Canelo is a top shelf boxer with power and talent, in which case GGG beating him says everything you need to know about GGG.
You're just making excuses for Canelo. It's embarassing.

Canelo whooped his ass pretty bad the first 3 or 4 rounds but gave up a lot of the middle rounds when he got tired and played possum on the ropes.

Already ducking the rematch. He said he thought he won 8 rounds, he said he didn't feel GGG's power. Why run from the rematch? Prolly going to take 4 months for his black eyes to fade.

My buddy is press corps, and a Golovkin fight goes up to presidential interest - don't think for a second the money won't be there, it is.
Could be Saunders, but could be someone like Derevyanchenko (IBF mando No. 1). Not sure where Golovkin's mandatory situation is at the moment.

1. ggg owed jacobs immediate rematch but so called fans and media never pressed him for it.
2. canelo didn't make him wait. little g refused to drop to 155.
3. ggg has only stepped up competition twice in career. both endind in controversy.
4. and finally we all now see why ggg was kept far far away from andre ward. he wouldve been devoured.
all facts.

The Ring Middleweight Champion belt was won at Caneloweight, so should really be The Ring Caneloweight belt. Trouble is one struggles to make a top 10, Cotto number 1, and only other qualifier would be Khan at No.2 I think.
