Canelo has all the power, all the cards, no way does he personally need this rematch,. GGG can't make serious money without Canelo, not unless he actually wants to fight someone that is bigger and much more dangerous, and we all know how GGG rolls when it comes to that.

118-110 sucks, but this def was a draw, and would have been an L for GGG if Canelo didn't fade slightly in the middle rounds.

Before the fight Canela fans was saying that Canelo will school GGG. But GGG whooped his a $$.

Canelo whooped his ass pretty bad the first 3 or 4 rounds but gave up a lot of the middle rounds when he got tired and played possum on the ropes.

Got a Khazakh buddy in Astana, and I asked him how big a Golovkin fight would be there. His response 'biggest night in Astana EVER'. It would likely be in the Astana Arena (cap 30,000), and like a Joshua fight in the UK, expect it to sell out in less than an hour.

My buddy is press corps, and a Golovkin fight goes up to presidential interest - don't think for a second the money won't be there, it is.

1. ggg owed jacobs immediate rematch but so called fans and media never pressed him for it.
2. canelo didn't make him wait. little g refused to drop to 155.
3. ggg has only stepped up competition twice in career. both endind in controversy.
4. and finally we all now see why ggg was kept far far away from andre ward. he wouldve been devoured.

Quite a lot of discussion about 'Caneloweight', which I think was determined to be 155.

The Ring Middleweight Champion belt was won at Caneloweight, so should really be The Ring Caneloweight belt. Trouble is one struggles to make a top 10, Cotto number 1, and only other qualifier would be Khan at No.2 I think.
